Crockett Farm
Coupeville, Washington

Crockett Farm is located in the heart of Ebey’s Landing National Historic Reserve in Coupeville, Washington. Coupeville is a small, charming town on Central Whidbey Island and is accessible via a  scenic drive and a short ferry ride from Mukilteo (just 30 minutes from Seattle) to the south, or the impressive Deception Pass Bridge to the north. Whidbey Island’s accessibility to Seattle makes it a convenient day trip for guests, while also providing them with a fun and uncommon adventure. Your family and friends will never forget your wedding on Whidbey Island!

Dating back to 1895, historic Crockett Farm is set on 11 picturesque acres of open prairie with stunning views of Crockett Lake and the Admiralty Inlet.

Crockett Farm is an ideal venue for weddings of any size, up to 200 guests. Its unique layout includes both indoor and outdoor ceremony sites – inside the rustic and intimate lower barn area with original stone walls, wood beams and paned windows or outside beneath a driftwood arbor looking out to the water. Your cocktail hour takes place in the lower barn space and on the cobblestone patio with generous space for post-ceremony lawn games.

Dinner and dancing are upstairs in the barn. This open space features a beautiful, handcrafted bar, a large area for dinner tables and a dance floor. Strings of white lights and paper lanterns enhance the barn’s rustic charm and make the open space intimate and celebratory!

shooting the collection

We have added a new page, the collection, to The Wayfarer website. Here, we are showcasing all the vintage items, furniture and props that are exclusive to The Wayfarer. The main purpose is to have a visual representation of all the gorgeous pieces we have accumulated over the years that we offer for use to the couples who marry at The Wayfarer. We encourage the couples to browse through the collection, mention to us what they love and let us put it all together. Through this process we end up with a variety of different styles of weddings, no two are ever alike; everything is individualized to be a unique and perfect reflection of each couple.

The shoot itself was a blast. It was a chilly December morning on the farm; we started the day with a determination to photograph all the fabulous unique pieces that we have accumulated over time. Our collection has grown dramatically, so we knew it was time to showcase the new additions.

We did some individual shots of items, as well as mock set-ups and table displays. All in all, we are so excited for this upcoming wedding season! There is lots of creative energy amongst our team. We look forward to the design sketches blossoming into the beautiful details that make each wedding a stunning event.

Please browse through the collection section of the website. We will continue to add items as the collection flourishes, which is inevitable due to our obsessive love of flea markets and antique shops.  Our next shoot is planned for the spring, stay tuned.

A big thank you to Suzy at ‘those we fancy photography‘. The pictures are beautiful and we are thrilled with the results. We’ve included a few snapshots from the shoot. Enjoy.

the blog is here!

We are thrilled to be launching the Wayfarer blog!

We will continue to post updates about the farm, notes about things we love, new additions to our ever growing collection of vintage goods, inspiration for the upcoming season and anything else that suits our fancy. Thank you for visiting, we look forward to sharing with you
